The density of urolithin A is around 1.6 g/cm^3. It is a stable compound that can withstand high temperatures and pressures.

Description:
Urolithin A is a natural compound produced by the gut microbiota from ellagitannins.Ellagitannins are found in berries such as pomegranates, strawberries, and raspberries, as well as nuts such as walnuts and almonds. After drinking pomegranate juice, the ellagitannin compounds are broken down in the stomach and then converted into Urolithin A by the gut flora. Urolithin A has been widely studied for its potential health benefits, particularly in the area of age-related muscle decline.
Urolithin A has been shown to have anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anti-cancer properties in several studies. It is believed to work by activating a pathway called Nrf2, which regulates the body’s antioxidant response and protects cells from damage.

The functional benefits of Urolithin A
In some studies, Urolithin A has been shown to possess properties such as anti-inflammatory, antioxidant, and anticancer effects. It is believed to act by activating a pathway called Nrf2, which regulates the body’s antioxidant response, protecting cells from damage.
1.Anti-aging effects: As we age, mitochondrial autophagy decreases in cells, and declining mitochondrial function in the muscles of older individuals is considered one of the primary reasons for age-related muscle damage. Urolithin A is a potent gut metabolite capable of rejuvenating mitochondria and reversing muscle aging. Oral intake of urolithin A can improve mitochondrial function by stimulating the process of mitophagy, thereby exerting anti-aging effects.
2.Anti-oxidation: Urolithin A exhibits strong antioxidant effects, capable of scavenging free radicals in the body and reducing oxidative stress-induced damage to cells. Studies have found that urolithin A can inhibit the activity of various oxidases, thereby reducing oxidative stress levels. Additionally, urolithin A can increase the expression of intracellular antioxidant enzymes, enhancing the cell’s antioxidant capacity.
3.Anti-inflammation: Urolithin A possesses anti-inflammatory properties, capable of inhibiting the production and release of inflammatory factors, thus alleviating inflammation responses. Research indicates that urolithin A can effectively suppress the expression of various inflammatory factors. Furthermore, urolithin A can inhibit the activation of inflammatory signaling pathways, further attenuating inflammation responses.
4.Anti-cancer: Urolithin A has the ability to inhibit the growth and spread of tumor cells. Studies have found that urolithin A can inhibit the proliferation, invasion, and metastasis of tumor cells, thereby suppressing tumor development. Additionally, urolithin A can induce apoptosis in tumor cells, thereby inhibiting tumor growth.
